As we continue to cover the 45 Goals Marxists published for taking over America, we may think some of them are no longer relevant, but though some of these are no longer on the forefront of international Communist policy because they were accomplished, or they are no longer relevant, we can see in them the nature of Marxist thinking and strategy, so we will address them all in these Briefs.

MARXIST GOAL #2: Make the U.S. willing to capitulate to communist demands rather than risk atomic war.

Until Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher stood up to the Soviet nuclear threats and bullying, most Western leaders cowered before them and repeatedly capitulated to Soviet demands, even when they had a great advantage in its nuclear arsenal. There was some pushback, such as Kennedy’s stand during the Cuban Missile Crisis, and Nixon’s during the Jordanian Crisis. However, even after these incidents proved that the Communists would retreat before strength, Western leaders continued to give in to the Communists’ nuclear bullying.

No one wants nuclear war, but you can never appease a bully, and trying to do so inevitably has led to war. Soviet foreign policy was basically to bully the world into giving them what they wanted. If you give a bully what he wants he will perceive that as weakness and want more, just as history proves. Eventually, communism was able to expand until half of the world’s population was under their yoke. Reagan’s and Thatcher’s strong and consistent pushback quickly revealed the weakness of the Communist system, and not only did their expansion slow, the Soviet Union fell apart. Winston Churchill had contended that the Cold War could be won without a shot being fired just by standing up to the Communists, asserting that their system was so fragile that they would fall apart when challenged. He was right.

It is basic Marxist doctrine to exploit weakness and to avoid confronting strength. Even when the West had overwhelming military and economic strength, and could have decimated communism long before it did, the West had weak, easily intimidated and manipulated leaders who allowed themselves to be pushed around by their communist counterparts. Marxism would not likely have lasted past the 1950s if it were not for weak, inept Western leadership. Retreating before the threat of nuclear war to persuade the populations to be compliant and try to appease the bully did not work, and never will. Standing up to bullies did, as Reagan and Thatcher proved.

MARXIST GOAL #3: Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

A movement actually arose in the U.S. to unilaterally disarm in order to prove moral superiority. This philosophy was embraced by Paul Warnke who negotiated the SALT II treaty with the Soviets—the treaty that caused the U.S. to voluntarily surrender its nuclear advantage, and began gradually dismantling its entire military. This did not make the world safer as Warnke contended, but the Soviet Union continued to build their military strength until it began to outclass that of the West. This opened the door for worldwide communist aggression, and they took advantage of it.

SALT II also sent a clear message to Communist revolutionaries everywhere that if they kept the pressure on America, we would gradually surrender everything, including our allies, and even own country.

MARXIST GOAL #4: Have the U.S. permit free trade between all nations regardless of communist affiliation, and regardless of whether or not the items being traded could be used for war.

Marx had taught that Western capitalists would fund the Communist revolutions just to make a profit. It is likely that no other country has been served more poorly by its foreign policy makers, its treaty and trade negotiators, than America has. It seems U.S. strategy was to give the Communists everything they wanted, and ask for nothing in return.

It is not likely that Marxist socialism could have survived anywhere in the world if it had not been for the one-sided trade deals they were able to get from the U.S. and our allies that propped them up. When the capital of communism moved from Moscow to Beijing after the collapse of the Soviet Union, it is uncanny how Western business poured into China until it has now risen to be the greatest threat to freedom, and is on its way to eclipsing American and Western economic and military strength.

MARXIST GOAL #5: Have the U.S. extend long-term loans to the Soviet states.

The Soviets broke every treaty they entered into with the West, just as Marx and Lenin had advocated. Their doctrine was to make almost any treaty with the U.S. because they did not intend to abide by any of them. China continued this policy. As the Communists blatantly reneged on every loan and agreement, Western leadership would continue to give them more money and make more agreements with them. Why?

Were our leaders really that naïve? Were they that cowardly when facing the Communists? Were our leaders just making such one-sided deals with the Communists because they knew our shallow media would not dig down into the details of these terrible sellouts of our country, and that this would gain them political capital at home by appearing to be able to negotiate with the Communists and keep us out of military confrontation?

It was likely a combination of all of the above that enabled U.S. administrations to betray our country the way that they did. For whatever reasons they were able to rationalize this, it is incomprehensible the way we were financing the very aggression meant to destroy America and the West, and freedom-loving people everywhere.

MARXIST GOAL #6: Persuade America and the West to provide aid to all countries regardless of communist affiliation.

This was another way for the communists to steal from the American people and use our resources to fund our own destruction. Red China would never have become the threat to the world that it is today if we had not aided this. That our leaders and elected officials would fall for this will be one of the terrible enigmas of history. If anything could be more shocking it is how this continues today with such a long history of what a failure this policy has been.

MARXIST GOAL #7: Persuade America to recognize Red China, and grant its admission to the United Nations.

This required America to deny continued recognition and support for the free Chinese government, and one of our most loyal allies, Taiwan. This further projected American weakness and lack of resolve to the Communists, and to our other allies as well. Almost immediately the United Nations went from being a freedom protecting “leader of the free world” to one consistently against the interests of the free world, and it became the primary platform promoting the projection of Marxist globalist initiatives.

We will continue covering these 45 Communist Goals for taking over America in the next Brief. As we proceed we will see how they have affected our present world, and how close the Marxist world globalist initiative now is to accomplishing their ultimate goal of world domination.

The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger at the expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men. ~Samuel Adams, called “The Father of the American Revolution.”

Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God. ~Thomas Jefferson
