Dear brothers and sisters,
Nearly three and a half years have passed since Reuven and Mary Lou Doron departed from public ministry and submitted to a restoration process within the Body of Christ. After the first year, the Restoration Team was reconfigured under the leadership of Larry and Kathy Alberts of Fathers and Families Together, with advisory input from international leaders from the United States and Israel. Now, after almost two and a half additional years to complete the process, Larry is pleased to make the following announcement:
We confirm that the Dorons have concluded the restoration journey as they have been requested:
- Fulfilling their obligations and commitments to the team, including absence from public ministry, ongoing counseling with University of the Family, and regular accountability in prescribed areas;
- Actively embracing the Lord's own discipline and nurture;
- Reaching for, obtaining, and abiding in His grace for healing; and
- Walking uprightly with each other, with Him, and with the Body of Christ, in an observable and noteworthy manner over a sustained and agreed upon period of time.
Therefore,
The Restoration Team now commends the Dorons, by faith, to the Lord's grace for a new season of service and fruitfulness. This means that:
- Reuven and Mary Lou are now restored back to the position of ministers in good standing, worthy of our trust; and
- They can now be reached publicly at e-address: OneNewManMail@aol.com
- Or by surface mail at: Reuven and Mary Lou Doron, PO Box 164, Hayfield, MN 55940
The Dorons affirm their commitment to continue this daily walk of healing and service for the rest of their days as a work of faith and growth in grace and obedience. To safeguard that intention, the Dorons have voluntarily submitted themselves and their renewed work of ministry to an accountability relationship as part of the Regional Team of Fathers and Families Together.
The Restoration Team, therefore, confirms to the Body of Christ that this chapter of discipline, healing, and restoration is successfully concluded, and commits Reuven and Mary Lou into the Lord's hands for the rest of their journey. We want to acknowledge with gratitude the many faithful friends who prayed for the Dorons throughout this process. Let’s join with them now in gladly rejoicing at having such tremendous cause to celebrate before God for this marvelous restoration.
Sincerely in our Lord,
Larry J. and Kathy A. Alberts
For the Restoration Team with special thanks to the University of the Family
