Because of the terrible terrorists attacks that came on September 11, which is 9/11, I was impressed to look up Revelation 9:11:

"They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is
Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon."

Many have inquired of us regarding what the Lord has said or is saying about this most tragic day in United States history. I will address the relevant words in a very general way now, and in more detail as events unfold. First, I would like to say that we, as Christians, are citizens of a kingdom that cannot be shaken. In the midst of everything like this that happens, we must first focus on the Lord and His unshakable throne in heavenly places.

It was no accident that this was one of the most extraordinary and enigmatic elections in our history. Never have so many people come to understand how much their vote can count, and never have so many people felt that their vote may not have even been counted. In the end, the election was not even decided by the votes, but by the courts. However, there are important messages in this election.

Revival, renewal, awakening--none of these words seem big enough to describe what is currently taking place in Africa. Entire regions are being radically impacted by the gospel, and whole cities are falling to their knees confessing Jesus as Lord. Looking at the numbers, there is nothing in history to compare with the present move of God in Africa. One African newspaper reported last year that "Africa is Being Saved."

Recently, Reverend Bonnke very graciously took time to answer some of our questions. His frankness, clarity of vision, and heart for the lost are evident in his thoughtful answers.   1. In the light of church history, from the book of Acts to the present, how would you describe and compare the revival taking place in Africa?

Bob Jones: Lust, doubt, and spiritual error come from not being rooted and grounded in love.

Bob Jones:Those who remove the landmarks are the ones who devour the flocks...This is promoting a freedom that really is lawlessness, or a false freedom. To this we could add that the beginning of pride usually comes when we try to start taking credit for the things that God has done. (Bob was given Job 24:2; Proverbs 22:28).

In the first days of this new millennium, we stand at the threshold of some of the greatest challenges and possibilities that mankind has yet faced. Never has there been such darkness and delusion, or such light and truth. We are living in the fulfillment of Isaiah 60:1-2:

"Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.

"For behold, darkness will cover the earth, and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you.
