Robin Wood was raised in Monroe, North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she met and later married Al Wood, a collegiate All-American, Olympian, and NBA Basketball player. Robin and Al settled in North Carolina to raise their four children after Al's career in the NBA. They both rededicated their lives to the Lord and became involved in ministry during this time. Passionate about empowering and equipping others, Robin serves as an administrative assistant to her husband Al, who leads the MorningStar Men's Ministry as well as serves as Director for Team Focus, a ministry that caters to fatherless boys. Robin is also co-founder of the Titus 2 Women's Ministry at MorningStar which is a mentoring ministry for the older and younger women in the church. She teaches spiritual mothering classes, advanced training seminars, has spoken at conferences and events, and loves to help others reach their full God-given potential. She resides in Fort Mill, SC with her husband Al. They have four grown children, AJ, Martina, Candace, and Carmen.
