We continue covering the 45 Goals Marxists declared for bringing America under their bondage with Goal #28.

MARXIST GOAL #28: Eliminate prayer and any type of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

America also fell far too easily for this one, and it had such a devastating impact on the American culture that many consider it to be the single most destructive factor leading to the present meltdown of morality, integrity, and character in America. There is overwhelming evidence to support this view. If we had leaders who knew the Constitution, and had the integrity and courage to uphold their vow to defend it, this could not have happened in America.

The “separation of church and state” is found nowhere in the Constitution, and anyone who has actually read the Constitution should know this. Marxists have been the most skilled in using propaganda to deceive and promote lies of any group in history. Ignorant and inept American leaders have proven quick to accept almost anything as true if it is widely spoken or reported in the media, seemingly not even having the most basic discernment of what is propaganda and what is true. Our country has paid a terrible price for this incompetence, or in some cases, collusion with our enemies.

So, what does the Constitution have to say about the relation between the church and state? The First Amendment is the only place this is addressed, and it is clear: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” How much simpler and clearer could they have made this?

The Founders also made it clear in their speeches and personal writings that this was to keep the government out of religion, not religion out of the government. It was Thomas Jefferson’s letter to ensure the Danbury Baptists that this was intended to keep the state out of religion, not the other way around when he first used the term “separation of church and state.”

The First Amendment also makes clear that only Congress was forbidden to establish religion. This was articulated and understood that the states and the people were free to do as they thought best in regard to this.

In 1962 the U.S. Supreme Court overturned nearly four hundred years of American tradition, and nearly two hundred years of Supreme Court precedents, including what had been accepted and practiced by those who wrote the Constitution. This was done in the case of Engel v. Vitale that forbade prayer in public schools in one of the most devastating decisions ever made by the Supreme Court. This not only opened the doors wide to the corruption that has since swept over our land, but it opened wide the doors for government to intrude into the affairs of the church. Many studies have marked the meltdown of morality in America from this very year, but we can also mark this as the beginning of an unrelenting attack on religious liberty in America.

This unconstitutional Supreme Court decision also opened the door wide for many other decisions that brazenly ignored and contradicted the Constitution. It also released an increasing assault by the courts on virtually all of our rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights and the “judicial tyranny” Jefferson and other Founders considered the biggest threat to our Republic.

Jesus said that we would know a tree by its fruit. Students can now use the vilest curses freely in school, as these are assumed to be protected by the First Amendment freedom of speech. They can be expelled for using the name of Jesus, which is no longer protected, and attacked by our own government. This is a basic revelation of how the government of the most God loving and God seeking nation in history has now become antichrist.

What could be clearer than the First Amendment saying, “or prohibiting the free exercise thereof” in regard to religion? What could be guiltier of this than prohibiting prayer, one of the most basic disciplines of any religion?

The First Amendment protects the foundational freedoms upon which all of our other freedoms stand. It may be the most powerful forty-five words ever penned to guarantee liberty, and is the most powerful counter to the 45 Goals of Marxism for taking over America. Let’s take one minute to read it in its entirety:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Marxists know very well that if they destroy our freedom of religion, freedom of speech and the press, or the right of Americans to peaceably assemble, the destruction of all our other freedoms will be easy and quick. If we are going to recover the freedoms they have already stolen from us, we must first begin by recovering our First Amendment rights.

MARXIST GOAL # 29: Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, and a hindrance to the cooperation between nations on a world-wide basis.

Of course, the Marxists are going to promote this belief because they know that if they can nullify the Constitution as “the supreme law of the land,” they will have destroyed the foundation upon which our Republic stands, and it will fall.

For any American to so denigrate the Constitution with this argument is sure evidence that they are either ignorant of what it says, or ignorant of American history that reveals how it was instrumental in building the most powerful, wealthy, and free country the world has ever known. Next to the Bible there has been no other writing in history that has released such good in the world. To call it “inadequate” is the ultimate ignorance, or the ultimate purposeful betrayal of our country.

To call the Constitution “old fashioned” is another clear evidence of ignorance, or evil intent. Our Constitution was not designed for the culture of the time in which it was written, but it was based on the knowledge of human nature that has been so clearly revealed throughout time. It was brilliantly designed to restrain the evil in men, while freeing the good. No other document has any government been established on that has been so effective in doing this.

For an American to say that our Constitution is out of step with modern needs is another sure sign of either ignorance of the Constitution, or our times. It has always been timely because it is based on timeless truth. It is as relevant to today’s issues as it was when it was first ratified, and maybe even more so as the evil in man has never been more in need of its restraint. The roots of all of the major crises that are now tearing our country apart are the result of disregarding the Constitution. The answer to resolving these crises is to return the Constitution to its rightful place as “the supreme law of the land.”

On the last point, for any American to think that our Constitution is a hindrance to world-wide cooperation is again a revelation of how ignorant they are of both the Constitution and the forces that are now shaping our world toward an ultimate tyranny. Marxism is at the root of globalism, and our Constitution is the most powerful bulwark against those who are seeking to unite the world under the worst tyranny ever released on the earth. Our Constitution has, and continues to be, a basis of cooperation with any other civilized and freedom loving people or country.

As we continue to study the Marxist agenda for destroying America, we will see how Marxists unfortunately understand better than most Americans how vital the Constitution is to our freedom, our prosperity, and our strength.

Many people today believe that cynicism requires courage. Actually, cynicism is the height of cowardice. It is innocence and open-heartedness that requires the true courage—however often we are hurt as a result of it. ~Erica Jong

The problem is not to find the answer; it's to face the answer. ~Terence McKenna
