We continue covering the 45 Goals Marxists declared for bringing America under their bondage with Goal #30.
MARXIST GOAL #30: Discredit the American Founding Fathers as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for “the common man.”
The American Founding Fathers were unlike any revolutionaries before or after them. It is true that they were composed of the wealthiest and most successful people in the colonies, and for such wealthy and successful men to lead a revolution is unique in history. This is also a reason why the American Revolution is considered the only truly successful one, and the foundation for the world’s longest lasting Republic.
Our Founders should not be discredited for this, but instead acknowledged as the ones who had the most to lose by leading a revolution, risking everything for liberty and the elevation of all of their fellow citizens. Some gave their lives and some gave their fortunes so that their fellow citizens could be free. As such they were perhaps the most honorable of any aristocracy in history, if indeed that is what they were.
The American Founding Fathers had flaws like all men. Their treating all men as “created equal,” except the slaves, is and should be a reproach. It should be a reminder that even the best can have huge blind spots and collude with evil. This is true with almost all of the important persons in history and the present. We can find only one person in Scripture or history that did not make mistakes, and often terrible ones. We should resolve to learn from their mistakes to do better. If we are able to do better it is not because we are better, but we are given the grace to do better by learning from other’s mistakes. To have the pride that we are better is a sure way to fall to a worse evil, as we are assured in Scripture that “God resists the proud, but gives His grace to the humble” (I Peter 5:5 NKJV).
God’s grace is also dependent on obeying the only commandment He gave with a promise—“Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be prolonged and that it may go well with you on the land which the Lord your God gives you” (Deuteronomy 5:16). If we want things to go well and have longevity, we must obey this. How well has it been going for America since we allowed this relentless assault on our Founding Fathers and Mothers? What could be more dishonoring to them? It seems obvious that if we do not turn back from this soon our longevity as a Republic will soon be cut short.
We should also note the hypocrisy that those who attack the Founders for tolerating slavery are promoting Marxism, the worst form of slavery the world has ever known.
Even with the flaws in our Founders, which can be found in every nation’s founders, it could be argued that never in human history has such a remarkable group gathered together with the level of knowledge and wisdom like American Founders had. Never had such an elite group ever stood up to risk so much for freedom and the defense of their fellow citizens. Find any other founders of a nation that so boldly challenged the most powerful empire in the world, with the most powerful army and navy in the world. They did this while not even having an army, but just a militia, and not even a single warship. Then, to the astonishment of the whole world, they prevailed.
They worked together to establish a Constitution and a government devoted to the rights and individual liberty of the common man, and not in a single place gave preference to the wealthy, or the powerful, which could have benefited most of them.
The Constitution is so brilliant that it was acknowledged around the world as perhaps the most brilliant document ever penned for the benefit of man with the exception of Scripture. By its brilliance to release such stability in government, it helped to release advancement in virtually every field of knowledge as had never been seen on the earth before. It has been well documented that in just the two hundred years after the Constitution was ratified that a greater advancement of mankind was accomplished than in the previous five thousand plus years.
The application of the brilliance of the American founding documents was not as brilliant as their writing, but it was a step in the right direction to ultimately require this application. It also provided an unprecedentedly wise procedure to continue the needed change so that there has been steady progress toward a full application of the vision. This progress has continued as long as we have continued to adhere to the Constitution, and has only slowed or been corrupted as we have ignored the Constitution.
MARXIST GOAL #31: Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the grounds that it was only a minor part of “the big picture.”
In this the Marxists have realized perhaps even their greatest success in corrupting and weakening the youth of our nation. Their strategy to denigrate and destroy has now matured into what is called “the cancel culture” that has manipulated the weak and ignorant into what Scripture says is an ultimate depravity a nation can fall to: calling the good evil, and the evil good, honoring the dishonorable, while dishonoring the honorable.
Like all of the lies that Marxism is built on, what they now have many naïve and ignorant Americans believing about their own culture and history is the opposite of the truth. America has one of the most remarkable and honorable histories of any nation, and very much the opposite of what the revisionist historians have now placed in textbooks for our schools. The true “big picture” is that America has helped to carry the entire world much higher than it has ever been in virtually every way.
As the saying goes, “Any jackass can kick a barn down, but it takes a skillful carpenter to build one.” Marxism only tears down and destroys, which has been proven by its history in every country that has been subjected to it. Americans have built more of substance and benefit to the world than any nation before it. We have been far from perfect, but it is far better than what is being taught to our children today by the revisionist historians.
MARXIST GOAL #32: Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
In this, too, the Marxists have been successful. As we now have virtually all of American culture being centrally controlled by the federal government, which means that it is now fundamentally controlled by a “deep state” bureaucracy that is fundamentally leftist and Marxist, we can see why the federal government now supports so many anti-American trends and policies.
The “deep state” is composed of an estimated three-million bureaucrats in the federal government who have been given the power to micro-manage America through regulations than it could be argued Congress now has. That was given to the bureaucrats by our Supreme Court, which in direct conflict with the Constitution gave regulations written by bureaucrats the power of law. The Constitution is clear that only Congress can make laws.
As these unconstitutional laws have become increasingly intrusive in controlling even small details of our lives, we must understand that they are not only being written by unelected bureaucrats, but with no checks and balances that was a basis in our Constitution for restraining unbridled abuses of power. We are almost daily losing our freedom and our strength as a nation because of this one incomprehensible decision by our Supreme Court.
Winston Churchill foresaw governments that became giant bureaucracies as the greatest threat to our liberty and to civilization itself. This prophecy is now being fulfilled.
