On May 26, MorningStar Ministries’ Founder, Rick Joyner, was hospitalized after having a stroke. It initially seemed and appeared as if he had a set of ministrokes, but the resulting effects were of a more significant stroke on the right side of his brain. As a result, Rick experienced some loss of feeling on his left side. He is expected to undergo further rehabilitation and is gradually regaining feeling on his left side. He is reportedly in good spirits despite the period of recovery ahead.
We ask you to pray for Rick and his family as he continues to navigate his recovery. To help him focus on recovery, and out of respect for his privacy, we also ask you to refrain from contacting him and his family at this time.
We believe God is not done with Rick, and we are praying for a speedy recovery. We want to see him totally healed, and we believe that God can heal him.
