In December of 2018, I had a dream in which I saw American history from heaven’s perspective. I was shocked by how different heaven’s understanding of our history was from ours. For example, heaven did not consider the American colonies to have won The Revolutionary War. From heaven’s perspective, the revolution was not just about getting free from British rule, but the main priority was to establish a republic and a nation where all men are treated equally, and where there is “liberty and justice for all.”

The Revolution did accomplish much. The new American Republic that was created did have more liberty and more justice than possibly any nation before it. The Founders did a masterful job with our founding documents, The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, and The Bill of Rights, but fell short implementing them because of political compromise. This made the much more deadly and destructive Civil War inevitable.

Like The Revolutionary War, The Civil War accomplished some crucial things for the Republic, especially by eradicating the scourge of slavery from the land. However, it too fell short of establishing what was declared to be a main purpose—to be a place where all are treated equal, and where there is liberty and justice for all, not just some. Falling short in these, another Revolutionary/Civil War is upon us.

At the end of this dream, there was written in flaming script: “The Second American Revolutionary/Civil War is inevitable, it is right, and it will be successful.”In the less than two years since I had that dream, the likelihood of another civil war in America went from seeming extremely unlikely, to now being believed to be inevitable by a majority of Americans. It is coming at us fast, and each day is so charged with social friction that it could be the flashpoint of terrible violence in America.

So, what do we do? Jesus called those who could discern the signs of the weather better than the signs of the times hypocrites. As Christians, we have a responsibility to understand what is happening in our times. The increasing divisions in our land are symptoms. Symptoms are a warning that serious underlying conditions are threatening the body. Much of what is being proposed to allay these symptoms are not addressing the underlying causes that are the real threat.

Through what is unfolding, the enemies of our liberty have become clear, and dispatching them would be a victory, but that alone is not enough. We will not have a true victory until we live up to the bold declarations made in our founding documents—that we will be a land where all are treated equally and where there will be liberty and justice for all, not just some.

To win any conflict begins with the basic military doctrine that you cannot defeat an enemy you do not see. The clearer we can see and define the enemy, the greater the advantage we have in this battle for our future. America has never had a more clearly defined enemy than we do in this emerging civil conflict. It has boldly declared its intent to destroy all that America was founded to be, to destroy our liberty, and to bring such chaos that we will be willing to accept its totalitarian control.

The lessons of history are clear that if someone says they want to kill us, we better take them seriously. How is it that so few of our political leaders recognize such a blatant enemy today? How is it possible for so many to have even sided with this enemy? The answer is that they, too, are the enemy.

It is grievous to consider fellow citizens enemies, but this is the present reality. The sooner we face this the less deadly and destructive this emerging conflict will be. Every oath of office taken in our land is to defend The Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. Our domestic enemies are far deadlier than those from without, and they are advancing in force.

Hopefully, as the evil nature of the enemy continues to become more obvious, many of our fellow Americans will wake up and change sides in order to defend the Republic. Those who have such an awakening should be welcomed, but until they do, they must be considered and treated like enemies of our Republic. The longer we wait to be clear about this, the higher the cost will be to our country.

Those who side with seditionists are seditionists. Those who side with those committing treason are themselves committing treason. Those who side with murderers and destroyers are guilty of the same.

Today’s revolutionaries want to destroy our liberty and replace our Republic with a Marxist/socialist state—the most cruel and evil system ever be imposed on any people. Today’s Patriots want to preserve our Republic, restore it to its Constitutional foundations, and drive the money-changers out that have brought such corruption and dysfunction to our government.

In times such as these, as it has been well said, “To not speak is to speak. To do nothing is doing something.” There will be no neutrality in what is unfolding. If the enemy of the Republic is not clear to anyone it is likely because they do not have clarity about our Republic, our Constitution, our purpose as a nation, or understand what socialism is. If we do not understand what is going on we cannot just not worry about it, we must get that understanding.

Because of our corrupted education system, most of our citizens do need a basic education on what our Republic is built on and for. We need an education on our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and we also need an education on what the enemy of these, Marxist socialism, really is.

Recent interviews revealed graduate students at some of our most esteemed universities that claimed to be socialists could not even define what socialism was! As the Lord said through Hosea: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). We can no longer afford to be ignorant of the things that really are threatening our continued existence.

As Christians we have a responsibility to be the salt and light. We are salt as we live the truth we have been given without compromise. We become light by having understanding and standing on it. To not know what is happening, and to not be engaged in these ultimate battles of our times, is to be guilty of dereliction of duty. No one will want to stand before The Great Judge on that day and be found guilty of this

For you to be reading something like this is evidence that you are at least seeking understanding. That is a good start, but it is only a start. You must also find your place of service and resolve that you will stand without compromise with the truth and understanding you have been trusted with.
