Learn From The Master - The Great Commission, Part 30
    by Rick Joyner

A disciple lives to learn from their master and to become like them. This is our ultimate life purpose as Christians—to learn from the Master every day, to become like Him, and to do the works that He did.

Many aspects of Christ’s life that we should seek for our own are: loving God above all things, loving others with the faith in God to help them, living pure and holy before the Lord, knowing His ways and being able to teach them, knowing the times and accurately predicting the future, etc. Many protest that Jesus could do...

Training For Reigning - The Great Commission, Part 29
    by Rick Joyner

Over the last couple of weeks, we opened the issue of divorce, which is one of the most important issues of our time. I have addressed this in more depth in our television program, Prophetic Perspectives, and will address it in much more depth in a work I am preparing. However, it deserves much more space than we can give it in this Word For The Week format. I hope I provoked some questions for which there are sound, biblical answers that in no way compromise the Scriptures. For now we will go on to address some of the...

Divorce and The Church - The Great Commission, Part 28
    by Rick Joyner

Last week we discussed how the Orthodox Jewish community has one of the lowest divorce rates of any people group. Because divorce is one of the greatest curses and most destructive forces in any society, I wanted to understand why this community was doing so much better than even the most devout Christian denominations and movements. The reason was easy to see, but it was surprising.

A main reason why the Orthodox had such a low divorce rate was because they allow divorce. This sounds counter-intuitive until you understand it. The Law of Moses does allow for divorce,...

Lukewarmness - The Great Commission, Part 27
    by Rick Joyner

As covered previously, many consider the seven churches of Revelation to be a prophetic outline of church history, and I share that view. Looking back, this is an amazingly accurate outline of church history. It would mean that the last church the Lord addressed, the church at Laodicea, would represent the church at the end of the age. This was the church that the Lord gave His greatest promises to: they would be given their food by Him, and they would sit with Him on His throne. This is in contrast to the great company that stands before the...

The Spirit of Truth - The Great Commission, Part 26
    by Rick Joyner
In 2008 we began to pray for the Holy Spirit to move in our country. We prayed for the Spirit of Truth to reveal anything hidden that we needed to know. This began happening very quickly. Some might protest that much of what is being illuminated is coming from whistleblowers in the government, but this gives us insight into the work of the Holy Spirit. There were times in the Old Testament when the Lord referred to heathen armies such as the Babylonians as His arm. The Babylonians did not know the Lord, nor did they know that...
