May31WEEK22
Last week, we began our study of the beast, and the “mark of the beast” (Revelation 16:2). As stated, because this beast comes “up out of the earth” (Revelation 13:11) this speaks of it being borne out of humanism, or earthly mindedness. We also know that the “mark of the beast” is an economic mark that enables one to “buy, sell, or trade.” Therefore, we can expect the economic systems of this earth to become more and more humanistic, and demanding more...

May24WEEK21
And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth... (Revelation 13:11).
As we covered last week, Cain was “a tiller of the ground” (Genesis 4:2), which speaks of the earthly mindedness of the seed of Cain. Here we see that the beast comes up “out of the earth,” which is the result of the earthly mindedness of fallen mankind. Let us read the last part of this chapter, verses 16-18, where we see the ultimate result of this earthly mindedness:

May17WEEK20
Last week we began to study the one which Scripture refers to as the “man of sin,” or the “antichrist,” who is prophesied to come and dominate the world for a time. The “man of sin” is the personification of the sin of man. This is why the book of Revelation, which was given as “the revelation of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 1:1), contains so much about the antichrist. It is by seeing this man of sin, the result of the sin of man, that we can see how desperately man needs Christ, and how...

May10WEEK19
This week we will begin a study of the “man of sin,” or the “antichrist,” which is prophesied to come and dominate the world for a time. The “man of sin” is the personification of the sin of man in its deepest depravity, and its greatest power of corruption. We are told about this in Scripture so we can be prepared for it, and which is why we are doing this study.
In Matthew 13:39 the Lord said that “...the harvest is the end of the age...” As we have said, the harvest that...

May03WEEK18
Robin McMillan, senior pastor of MorningStar Fellowship in Charlotte, had an important and profound insight into the gospel of the kingdom. It seems that every message to date which has claimed to be the gospel of the kingdom was devoted mostly to bringing men back into obedience, and was usually demonstrated by having men submit to other men. Certainly obedience to the Lord is an important issue, but it was not the main emphasis of the Lord’s own teachings on the kingdom. His message was overwhelmingly devoted to the authority of the kingdom of heaven over the kingdoms of this...
