    Freedom to Believe—Heritage Brief 49
    by Rick Joyner

Many of the first colonists to North America were Christians and Jews seeking freedom from religious persecution. Some were Christians who may not have been persecuted, but had a vision for establishing a truly Christian nation in America. These were joined by others who were given a reprieve from prison sentences, and some who had their debts forgiven. There were also some just seeking a new life and adventure, but the common denominator for all was that America represented a new beginning. To this day, this remains the main draw for those who want to come...

    Liberty or Slavery—Heritage Brief 48
    by Rick Joyner

The Free Market thrives on freedom. The more it has the better it does. People thrive in freedom. The more freedom people have, the better they do, and the happier and more productive they become, a fact to which history is an overwhelming witness. Mankind was created to be free, and as we are told in II Corinthians 3:17, “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

Marxism is the antithesis of freedom, and the source of the greatest oppression and slavery mankind has ever experienced. Under Marxism, the state is god and dictates...

    Battle Lines—Heritage Brief 47
    by Rick Joyner

The freedom released by the birth of the American Republic resulted in such a burst of initiative, advancing technology, and wealth creation that other nations were compelled to allow their citizens increasing economic freedom. The Next Step—Heritage Brief 46
    by Rick Joyner

If we look at the history of mankind from the Christian perspective it is more than just a journey; it is a magnificent adventure. Like most adventures, there have been setbacks, failures, and dangers everywhere, along with advances and victories. Because the end of the story has already been written, we know that an ultimate, glorious victory to our present struggle is both certain and near. Then there will be healing for every evil deed done and mankind’s future is even brighter than we can imagine.

Yet, in our time the darkness looms ever greater...

    The End Game—Heritage Brief 45
    by Rick Joyner

The motives and actions of some of the American Founders were influenced by biblical prophecy. This perspective so shaped America, from the first colonies until this time, that it is not possible to understand America without understanding why and how these prophecies did this. This is a general overview of them, but we can expound on them in more detail in later Briefs as needed to better understand the course of American history.

The prophecies of Scripture are unique in human history. No other religion, philosophy, or worldview has anything to compare with them....
