    A New World—Heritage Brief 7
    by Rick Joyner

It would be a tragic mistake not to honor the American Founding Fathers for their remarkable and unprecedented accomplishments. We must also honor them by carrying their work forward. To do this we must learn from their mistakes so that we do not continue to make them.

After the miracle of winning their independence and designing a government like the world had never seen before,  America was an infant in comparison to all of the other nations. Even the most perfect infants are messy and vulnerable. As we approach 300 years as a Republic, we are...

    A Mandate—Heritage Brief 6
    by Rick Joyner

The number one question people have is what their purpose is. The sense of purpose has been the most powerful motivating force in history, especially a Divinely ordained purpose. American Founding Fathers were infused with a sense of Divine purpose more powerful than all their learning and brilliance—a mandate that they believed would change the course of nations.

When the odds are against you, having a sense of a Divine calling can be encouraging. They were convinced they were serving One who was bigger than any odds, regardless of how small and weak they were...

    A New Vision—Heritage Brief 5
    by Rick Joyner

As a result of the Great Awakening that swept through the American colonies from 1730 to 1770, America became the most literate and educated place in the world. This translated into a deep devotion to freedom because, as Jesus had declared, “The truth will make you free” (see John 8:32). Where there is a devotion to truth, we will find a devotion to liberty. The truth requires liberty because truth is not found under compulsion, but rather by the hearts of those who esteem truth as the treasure it is.

The devotion to liberty is a noble...

    A New Life—Heritage Brief 4
    by Rick Joyner

God uses nations and cultures as fields for planting the seeds He wants to grow in the world. For this reason, Psalm 90:16-17 says, “Let Your work appear to Your servants, and Your majesty to their children. Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; and confirm for us the work of our hands.” By seeing His work, we receive His favor, and this confirms the work of our hands as being in harmony with His.

As we understand God’s work in the nations, we can see His attention in...

    The Upside-Down Revolution—Heritage Brief 3
    by Rick Joyner

The American Revolution was unique from every other revolution in history in one profound way: it was not begun by the poor or oppressed, but rather by the wealthy and successful. Those who signed the Declaration of Independence had the most to lose by a revolution. Nothing like this can be found in recorded history.

What kind of vision could fire the souls of the most accomplished and comfortable to face such an impossible task of challenging the most powerful empire in the world? When they declared that they would sacrifice...
