We now come to Revelation 21:1-4:

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.

And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, ...

We are told in Scripture that if we have confessed our sins, He has not only forgiven them, but He has also forgotten them. No confessed sin will be held against anyone on that great day. As I John 1:9-10 says:  

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

         This is a subject I’m sure everyone is excited about covering. Actually, if we really understood the judgment of God, it would be exciting and encouraging. We would look forward to it rather than trying to pretend it will not come.

         The next text to be covered is Revelation 20:11-15:

       Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

       And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and...

The next text to be covered is Revelation 20:7-10:

                  When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,

This is the last week we’ll spend on heaven so that we can complete the study of Revelation. In the last several Words for the Week, I’ve shared some things about heaven from my own experience, which should by no means be considered conclusive. I’ve read and heard many other descriptions that are different from what I’ve shared, but heaven is so big and diverse that I have no problem believing that all of these experiences put together probably describe far less than one percent of what heaven is really like.
