The Army of God Mobilizes, Part 14
    by Rick Joyner

Churches, ministries, or organizations that only minister to large groups will tend to be more shallow in their messages and the equipping of their people. However, churches that only minister to small groups can be deeper, but they, too, can become imbalanced and prideful if they are not joined in some way to a larger group to gather with at times. The healthiest churches tend to be those that have a large gathering for all, yet have a vital small group ministry as well.

As we discuss levels of maturity and levels of ministry, it is a delicate matter....

We have been discussing the anointing for mobilizing—to draw people together for a cause. We began to discuss how this is given in different measure, to draw different size groups. Some will be able to call dozens, some hundreds, and some thousands. The same is true for leadership. Some are called to lead small groups and some larger. Wise leaders will discern the level of their anointing or grace, and stay within it.

If a leader of a certain size group who is very effective with it decides to lead a larger one before the right time, he will falter...

As we consider the anointing for mobilizing, we must also understand how this applies to numbers. John the Baptist had an anointing to call and prepare all of Judea for the Lord. However, most do not start with such an ability to call great numbers. It is likely that John’s ministry was not that popular at first either. The theme this year is the army of God “mobilizing.” There is an anointing for mobilizing that we need to understand—the anointing to draw people together for a cause. This can be from the Lord or from the devil. For example, Hitler had an extraordinary anointing from the devil to mobilize people. The people who followed him included some of the most brilliant, who repeatedly commented to others how they did not understand his command over them, but when they were in his presence all doubts faded and they just submitted to him. When he spoke to multitudes, his content...

The normal state of Christianity is to be persecuted, and true Christianity and true Christians tend to make the greatest advances during times of persecution. However, what has been happening in the U.S. and Europe represents a dramatic loss of influence on the part of Christianity and the belittling and shaming of the gospel. This also computes to the growing lawlessness that is dragging an increasing number of souls into damnation.

So, how could this tragic transformation of the West happen? There is only one way—for Christians to become lukewarm or neutral.

    We are exhorted in II...
